Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 9, 2026

This policy explains how personal data of visitors to davidevichi.com is processed, in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Italian Privacy Code).

Data Controller

The data controller is Davide Vichi. For any request regarding your personal data, please contact: davidevichi85@gmail.com

Data collected via the contact form

When you use the contact form we collect the following data: name, email address, and the content of your message. This data is used exclusively to respond to your request and is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Legal basis and purposes

The processing is based on pre-contractual measures taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and on the legitimate interest of the controller to respond to received communications (art. 6.1.f GDPR). Data is retained for the time necessary to handle the communication and is then deleted, unless legal obligations require otherwise.

Third-party services

The site integrates the following external services: Vercel (hosting, which automatically logs IP addresses in system logs for security purposes), Resend (email delivery for the contact form), YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com — background videos are loaded from the no-cookie domain; YouTube sets cookies only if the user clicks play in a modal window). Each service processes data according to its own privacy policy.

Cookies

This site does not use profiling, analytics, or advertising cookies of its own. There is no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other tracking tools. Fonts are hosted locally: no requests are made to Google Fonts. The only cookies that may be set come from YouTube and only after the user voluntarily starts a video by clicking play.

Your rights

At any time you may exercise the rights granted by arts. 15-22 GDPR: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, objection. To exercise these rights write to davidevichi85@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Changes

This policy may be updated. The date of the last update is shown at the top. We recommend that you check this page periodically.
